ABC Pigtail Safety Shims Kit | Durable Polypropylene for Secure Electrical Connections

Overview

Meet the ABC Pigtail Safety Shims Kit, a practical accessory designed for trucks and trailers that rely on reliable tail lights. Crafted from a tough polypropylene blend, these shims stand up to temperature swings and demanding road conditions, helping you maintain a solid electrical connection where it matters most.

Why it matters

Tail lights play a crucial role in road safety and compliance. The shim fills the gap between the pigtail plug and receptacle, creating a snug, weatherproof seal that helps protect the connection from moisture and dirt. The result is a more consistent electrical pathway that supports visibility in challenging weather and on rough-road surfaces.

• Secure Electrical Connection: Helps maintain a firm connection between the pigtail plug and receptacle, supporting steady operation on bumpy roads and during long hauls.
• Weatherproof Protection: Creates a tight seal that blocks moisture and grime, reducing the chance of moisture-related issues at the plug point.

Durability you can rely on

Designed for longevity, the shims resist extreme temperatures and daily wear. This durability helps protect the integrity of electrical contacts and supports ongoing performance over time, potentially reducing the need for frequent replacements.

• Durable & Temperature-Resistant: Built from a premium polypropylene blend that endures cold, heat, and constant use across varying climates.
• Improves Road Safety: By helping keep tail lights powered, the shim contributes to better visibility for other drivers in diverse conditions.

Simple installation and practical benefits

Installation is straightforward: slide the shim over the pigtail plug and insert into the receptacle for a quick, on-the-road return. While benefits vary by use case, a properly seated connection can reduce downtime and support regulatory compliance on busy routes.

• Easy Installation & Potential Cost Savings: A quick, tool-free install helps minimize vehicle downtime and may reduce maintenance interruptions.
• Ideal For Long-Haul Use: Suited for trucks and trailers operating in diverse climates and road conditions where reliability matters.
