Overview

Upgrade your Mini Cooper’s rear lift with AiYiGu 4360 rear hatch shocks. This pair is designed to replace the OEM 4360, PM1095, and SG302018 units, delivering a steadier, more controlled opening and closing action. Built for daily use, these gas springs aim to balance reliability with ease of operation, helping the hatch stay in place during loading and unloading without sudden drops.

Compatibility and fit

Engineered specifically for 2002–2014 Mini Cooper models, the AiYiGu 4360 shocks come as a left and a right pair. They are sold as a complete set and are free from screws, so you can leverage your existing mounting hardware when available.

Real-life use and benefits

In everyday use, a properly paired left and right hatch shock can contribute to a smoother, more predictable hatch movement. When loading groceries, luggage, or sports gear, the hatch may stay steady as you reach in and out. The pair’s balanced action can help minimize accidental slams and finger pinches, creating a more confident loading experience. While results can vary by vehicle condition and mounting, many drivers notice a more controlled feel compared with a single worn spring.
