Description
xMeet AUTOOL’s EVAP Smoke Machine and Leak Tester
Detecting evaporative system leaks can be challenging. AUTOOL’s EVAP Smoke Machine packs a compact form with a built-in air pump and a precise pressure gauge, designed to help you locate leaks quickly without guesswork. In minutes, you generate dense smoke and trace its path to the source, making diagnostics and maintenance sessions more efficient.
Why this tool stands out
- Fast smoke generation: Thick smoke appears in about 10 seconds after startup, enabling rapid leak identification.
- Built-in air pump: No need for an extra pump, reducing setup time and tool clutter.
- External pressure gauge: A clear readout helps confirm leak status as you test different connections.
- Smart protection: Overheat and freeze safeguards protect both the device and the operator during use.
- User-friendly design: An intuitive interface makes it approachable for new users and pros alike.
- Broad compatibility: Suitable for cars, motorcycles, trucks, boats, and other 12V systems with EVAP service ports.
Real-life use scenarios
Think of a stubborn idle or an unusual exhaust behavior. By introducing smoke into the EVAP path, you can observe how it escapes and follow the trail to the leak source. This helps you target repairs rather than replace parts blindly, potentially saving time and money.
In a busy shop, the built-in pump speeds setup, letting you move from prep to inspection quickly. The integrated pressure gauge provides a visual cue during testing, helping you interpret changes as you adjust fittings or seals. Smart protection adds peace of mind when operating in varied workshop conditions.
What you get and why it matters
- Reliable EVAP workflow: Access the service port, attach the adapter, and begin smoke testing with confidence.
- Compact, portable build: A practical addition to a mobile diagnostic kit.
- Three-year warranty and ongoing maintenance support: AUTOOL covers non-human-factor damage and offers prompt assistance.
Note: While the tool supports a wide range of vehicles, results depend on vehicle design and port location. Use as part of a comprehensive diagnostic process.
