Overview

Replace worn RV awning lighting with the Carefree 901092 Universal White LED Strip. This 16-foot, flexible light system is designed to work with a wide range of awning brands, including Carefree, Domestic, and Lippert (LCI). The result is a clean, steady white glow that enhances outdoor evenings without overpowering your campsite.

Why it fits your RV lighting setup

• Flexible 16' strip with a 26" lead lets you tailor the length to match your awning.
• Trimmable design means you can shorten or extend the light run for different setups.
• Self-adhesive 3M backing enables straightforward, mess-free mounting on a variety of surfaces.
• Universal compatibility works with most major RV awning brands, not just Carefree.
• Easy DIY installation; you can plug in or wire using included butt splice connectors.
• Trim-to-fit convenience helps prevent excess lighting and waste.
• Carefree of Colorado offers this white light kit alongside colored lighting options for customization.

Real-world use and benefits

Imagine arriving at a campground at dusk. You trim the strip to fit your awning length, peel away the adhesive backing, and press it into place for a clean, even wash of light along your outdoor living space. The white glow helps you locate gear, illuminate step areas, and create a welcoming ambience without harsh brightness. While these outcomes are possibilities rather than guarantees, the modular design makes it easy to experiment with lighting layouts that suit your setup and preferences.

Installation tips

• Measure your desired length first, then trim the strip to size before installing.
• Clean the mounting surface, peel back the 3M backing, and press firmly into place.
• For longer runs or non-standard spaces, use the included butt splice connectors to wire or plug in.
