CURT 45900 Channel-Style Adjustable Dual Ball Mount — 10K/14K Capacity, 2 in & 2-5/16 in Balls

One mount, many towing scenarios

When you tow different trailers or carry a mix of loads, the CURT 45900 Channel-Style Adjustable Dual Ball Mount offers a single, adaptable solution. Its 2 x 2 shank fits a broad range of receivers, while two ball sizes cover two common coupler types. With this design, you can streamline gear and reduce the time spent swapping mounts between jobs.

Simple adjustments for level towing

The adjustable channel shank features multiple mounting holes so you can tailor the height. You can achieve a rise up to 5-1/4 inches or a drop of up to 6 inches, helping you keep the trailer level across uneven ground or varied tow angles. An integrated anti-rattle feature minimizes hitch movement and nuisance noises on the road.

• Two ball sizes to match different couplers: 2-inch and 2-5/16-inch
• Adjustable rise and drop for precise trailer leveling
• Anti-rattle design to reduce chucking noises

Strength and payload

The 2-inch ball is rated up to 10,000 lbs, and the 2-5/16-inch ball up to 14,000 lbs. The shank offers two mounting lengths, enabling 11-inch or 12-inch positioning for flexible installation with a variety of trailers and setups.

• 2 in ball: 10,000 lbs capacity
• 2-5/16 in ball: 14,000 lbs capacity
• Shank holes provide 11-inch or 12-inch lengths

Versatility, durability, and finish

Use the adjustable channel shank with channel-style pintle mounts or ball mount platforms to install your own trailer ball size. Built from sturdy steel and finished with a black carbide powder coat, it resists rust, scratches, and UV exposure for longer-lasting performance. The design is protected under U.S. Patent Nos. 11,628,698 and 11,660,916, underscoring CURT's approach to reliable towing hardware.

Note that results vary with trailer and setup, but this mount offers practical possibilities for simplifying your towing toolkit while maintaining a clean, secure hitch setup.
