Dakota Digital SGI-100BT: Universal Speedometer & Tachometer Interface with Bluetooth

Overview

The Dakota Digital SGI-100BT packs three essential gauge-management functions into a compact 4” x 2” x 1” enclosure. It can adjust, split, and recalibrate an electronic speed signal, calibrate a tach signal, and assist in creating and tweaking a gas tach signal for diesel swap projects. This level of flexibility helps align instrument readings with real-world engine data, even when sensors or wiring vary across builds.

What it does

• Speed calibration from 25% to 400% with multiple outputs for feeding several devices. Built-in pull-up allows operation with high or low voltage inputs. Tachometer settings cover 1–16 cylinders and 5V or 12V signal types.

Diesel and cylinder compatibility

• Diesel applications: outputs for 4, 6 or 8 cylinder tachs. Reads signals from a flywheel sensor (sensor sold separately), timing gear sensor, or alternator W-terminal (stator tap).

Connectivity and setup

• Bluetooth technology syncs the unit with a mobile app for programming and setup. For those who prefer tactile controls, built-in programming buttons and an LED display support stand-alone configuration.

Real‑world usage notes: The SGI‑100BT is designed to help hobbyists, builders, and restorers manage gauges when swapping engines or re-wiring dashboards. It supports diesel gauge needs and can provide a configurable output strategy for multiple gauges without replacing your entire gauge cluster.

Important considerations: Not for use with ABS sensors or systems. It is not compatible with most '86 to present European tachometers or '96 to present Jeep tachos, so please verify compatibility with your gauges before wiring.
