DID 525VX3G108ZB Gold 108-Link X-Ring Chain | VX Series High Performance

Meet the DID 525VX3G108ZB Gold 108-Link X-Ring chain, designed as a capable upgrade from the VX2. It targets a wide range of machines—from daily street bikes to the rugged terrain of ATVs and off-road setups—up to 1000cc. A standout feature is the innovative Direct Energy Transfer system, engineered to deliver a crisper throttle feel by increasing chain rigidity, so riders can respond with precision when twisting the grip.

The X-Ring seal design enhances retention and durability, helping resist contaminants and minimize power loss under tough riding conditions. Combined with robust construction, this chain aims to provide reliable performance across varied surfaces and riding styles, while maintaining smooth operation over time.

Key specs include a high tensile strength of 9,220 pounds and a per-100-link weight of 4.05 pounds, giving a solid presence on both paved and off-road routes. The package includes a rivet-style master link for straightforward installation, making it convenient for riders who prefer a ready-to-use setup right out of the box.

Performance in real-world riding

• Upgraded for a wider range of street, ATV, and off-road use up to 1000cc
• Direct Energy Transfer boosts rigidity for a more responsive throttle
• Enhanced seal with higher X-ring retention for longer-lasting performance
• Excellent strength with a tensile rating of 9,220 pounds
• Light enough to handle without sacrificing durability
• Includes a rivet-style master link for easier fitting

In real-world scenarios, this chain can contribute to quicker throttle feel, confident power delivery on uneven terrain, and smoother performance when switching between street and dirt. While individual results vary with setup and maintenance, many riders notice a more predictable cadence and reduced friction when paired with compatible sprockets and routine lubrication. These observations are possibilities rather than guarantees, depending on riding style and conditions.
