Doc's Diesel Fuel Filter DCS8323 – Dodge RAM 2500/3500 5.9L Cummins (1997-1999) | Replaces 33349

Engineered to Protect Your Dodge Cummins Fuel System

Doc's Diesel Fuel Filter DCS8323 is built to fit Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with the 5.9L Cummins engine from 1997 to 1999. In diesel systems, tiny contaminants, water droplets, and rust can challenge fuel flow and injector performance. A clean fuel path supports reliable starts, steady idle, and consistent power under daily driving and tougher loads. This filter aims to promote healthy fuel delivery by targeting impurities before they reach sensitive components.

Key design choices center on maximizing filtration media surface area, allowing more contact with the fuel and better access to contaminants without restricting flow. As fuel passes through the cartridge, water is separated from the fuel and held within the media, while dirt and rust particles are captured. The result is a cleaner fuel path that helps protect the pump, injectors, and fuel rails while maintaining efficient flow. While no filter can guarantee outcomes, many drivers value the sense of consistency that comes from cleaner fuel and reduced fuel-system stress during daily driving.

What makes Doc's DCS8323 stand out

Beyond the basic replaceable cartridge, this filter includes fresh o-rings to ensure a solid seal during installation. The filtration strategy emphasizes ongoing efficiency and dependable performance, rather than a single moment of filtration. Third-party testing confirms a 3-micron rating with a 96.92% efficiency, providing a data-backed benchmark for filtration quality.

• Improved filtration surface area supports more effective contaminant capture.
• Water separation minimizes the risk of water-laden fuel reaching critical components.
• New o-rings included for a secure seal and straightforward installation.

Interchangeability and Fitment
