Dorman 604-045 HVAC Blend Door Actuator — Direct Fit for Select Vehicles

Overview

Upgrade your vehicle’s climate control with the Dorman 604-045 HVAC blend door actuator. This direct replacement mirrors the fit and function of the original unit on specific years, makes, models, and configurations, helping restore proper HVAC operation and smoother temperature transitions.

In daily driving, you may notice more consistent airflow and quicker stabilization of cabin temperature as the blend door moves to the correct position. The actuator is built to resist wear and electrical burnout, supporting steady performance even in demanding driving scenarios.

Key advantages

• Direct replacement that mirrors the original actuator’s size and connection points
• Position-specific design to work with vehicles that have multiple HVAC actuators
• Durable construction tested to withstand typical automotive environments
• Backed by a US-based engineering team with extensive experience in vehicle systems
• Clear fit verification via the garage tool and application notes to confirm position and function

Compatibility and fit verification

Before purchasing, verify your vehicle information and trim to ensure a correct match. The notes list the following compatible models: Dodge Durango (2011–2013) and Jeep Grand Cherokee (2011–2013). It also covers a range of Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks across model years. Since many vehicles use more than one HVAC actuator, review the position notes to confirm you are selecting the actuator that matches your climate control configuration.

• Review application notes to verify the correct location and function
• Use the garage tool’s Confirmed Fit bar to check fitment
• If an “i” in a blue circle appears, additional verification is advised
• Enter your vehicle trim in the garage tool for precision
• Consider the possibility of multiple HVAC actuators in some models

This part is designed to provide a reliable replacement option with guidance to help you confirm the right fit for your vehicle. While not a guarantee, careful verification can help you make an informed choice and minimize fit issues during installation.
