ECOGARD XA10599 Premium Engine Air Filter for Nissan Titan & Titan XD — 2017-2021 Titan / 2017-2019 Titan XD

Small upgrade with big potential

Replacing the engine air filter is a quick task that may help your engine breathe easier and run more smoothly. Cleaner air can support better intake flow, which some drivers associate with crisper throttle response and steadier idle during everyday driving.

For optimal engine health, many manufacturers suggest inspecting or replacing the filter about every 12 months or 12,000 miles. The XA10599 is crafted for Nissan Titan and Titan XD models with a 5.6 liter engine. The replacement is typically straightforward, often requiring few or no tools and only a few minutes to complete.

Compatibility and fit notes

• Compatible with Nissan Titan 5.6L models from 2017 to 2021 and Titan XD 5.6L models from 2017 to 2019.
• Note that XA10599 is for Titan XD with medium wheelbase; XA10566 covers Titan XD with long wheelbase.
• Replaces ACDELCO A3406C, Nissan 16546-EZ31A, Wix WA11040 for a comparable filtration solution.

What to expect in daily use

• Potential improvements in air flow to support engine performance during acceleration and cruising.
• Help avoid increased engine wear caused by dirty air entering through a clogged filter.
• Easy installation that typically takes just a few minutes and may require few or no tools.

Design, performance, and care

The filter uses pleated media to increase surface area, efficiently capturing dust, pollen, and road grime while maintaining steady intake flow. This design aims to deliver filtration without placing unnecessary resistance on the air path.

Store the filter in its package until install and dispose of the used unit according to local regulations. For best results, pair with routine maintenance checks of the air intake system and the vehicle’s service schedule.

Installation tips

Prepare a clean workspace, remove the old filter, inspect the housing seal, and install the new unit with the correct orientation. Ensure a snug fit to prevent unfiltered air from bypassing the media.
