xMeet the Factor 55 FlatLink E Expert, a reimagined winch accessory that replaces the typical hook with a sturdy shackle D-Ring mounting. When not in use, the unit folds neatly into the fairlead, reducing obstruction and helping you preserve a clean recovery path on tight trails.
Smart design centers on a large pear shaped shackle mounting hole, allowing attachment to the pin or bow end of common screw pin shackles and OEM recovery points. The secure connection is built around an aerospace grade double shear titanium pin and a snap ring, making setup fast and dependable in rough conditions.
The FlatLink E uses EPDM rubber guards to cushion the contact surfaces, cut noise, and limit rattling. It is precision machined from 6000 series billet aluminum and finished with a Mil A 8625 Type III hard anodized coating in a protective gray tone that stands up to grit and abrasion.
Open and closed system winching compatibility
One of the key advantages is compatibility with closed system winching. This technique uses a fully closed chain of links to deliver extra security for demanding recoveries, especially when you need a confident setup in challenging terrain. It also remains friendly to both steel and synthetic winch lines up to 3/8 inch diameter.
Rugged performance is backed by strong numbers. The maximum load rating is 16,000 pounds, with ultimate failure greater than 40,000 pounds.
