FITHOIST Trailer Shackle Kit - Heavy-Duty Tandem Axle Shackle Kit (3500-5200 lbs Axles)

Elevate trailer reliability with the FITHOIST Trailer Shackle Kit

When you tow a tandem axle trailer, reliability matters as much as performance. The FITHOIST Trailer Shackle Kit is built to support 3500–5200 lb axles with double-eye leaf springs, delivering a robust link between your trailer and its suspension. The black oxidized finish isn’t just for aesthetics—it stands up to road grime, rain, and heat, helping preserve the hardware so you can focus on the road ahead.

What makes this kit stand out

• Durable construction: steel components paired with wear resistant nylon bushings reduce wear and absorb shocks on rough roads.
• Comprehensive hardware: all necessary pieces are included for a full installation without hunting for parts.
• Designed for tandem suspensions: compatible with most double eye leaf spring setups in the 3500–5200 lb range.

In real-world use, owners often note easier maintenance and faster on-site service when upgrading old shackles to this kit. The parts are sized to align with standard leaf spring configurations, reducing guesswork and letting you get back to your journey sooner.

Real-world use and installation

Whether outfitting a utility trailer, cargo hauler, race trailer, boat trailer, or camper, this kit is built for resilience. The process is straightforward: position the equalizers, mount the straps, and tighten the bolts. The included bolts and locking nuts are sized to deliver a secure connection, while the nylon bushings help dampen vibration for a smoother ride.

Helpful tips: measure old bolts to ensure a proper fit, and take a moment to inspect your leaf springs. A well matched kit reduces the risk of loosening and contributes to safer towing over time.

Lifetime suitability and compatibility

With a design focused on reliability and wide compatibility, the kit supports a range of tandem axles and trailer types. This makes it a practical upgrade for those seeking a solid, ready-to-install solution for enhanced stability on the road.
