Forccord 89019088 Blower Motor Resistor with Harness — Chevy/GMC SUVs (Replaces 973-405)

Overview

The Forccord 89019088 Blower Motor Resistor with Harness is designed to be a reliable replacement for a worn or failing unit in a broad range of GM vehicles. It supports manual AC control and can help restore consistent fan operation without replacing the entire climate system. Built with durable materials and validated through QA testing, this part is meant to withstand regular use in varying driving conditions.

Compatibility highlights

This resistor covers a wide family of Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac models from the early 2000s. The unit is designed for manual climate control and aims to fit several popular configurations.

• Chevrolet: Avalanche 1500/2500, Silverado 1500-3500, Suburban 1500/2500, Tahoe
• GMC: Sierra 1500/1500HD, 2500/2500HD, 3500; Yukon and Yukon XL 1500/2500
• Cadillac: Escalade ESV/EXT

Quality and reliability

Each Forccord component is produced with high-quality materials and undergoes QA checks before packaging. The result is a resistor designed to perform reliably as part of the HVAC system.

Function and benefits

The resistor governs the fan speed across the air conditioning and heating settings. If the fan becomes hard to adjust, or airflow is uneven, a replacement resistor may be a sensible next step to restore control.

Installation guidance

The install is described as a direct replacement: remove the screws holding the old resistor, swap in the new resistor with the included harness, and secure it in place. No special tools are required, and a YouTube guide can help if you want extra reassurance.

• OEM cross references: Replaces Part# 89019088 and other common numbers to simplify sourcing.
• Harness included: Streamlines wiring and connection for a simpler swap.
