Fox Racing Youth R3 Chest Guard | Motocross Protection for 6-14 Year Olds, Black

Overview

Meet the Fox Racing Youth R3 Chest Guard, a compact, protective layer designed for young riders ages 6–14. The silhouette sits close to the torso, promoting freedom of movement during aggressive turns, air-time jumps, and rapid throttle control. The design emphasizes a snug fit that stays with the rider through rough track conditions, helping minimize shifting or tugging when maneuvering on busy tracks.

Growing riders appreciate how the guard adjusts to their size. The shoulder straps and elastic waist closure are easy to tweak, delivering a secure, customized feel without adding bulk. The low-profile shoulder cups reduce bulk under riding jerseys, supporting comfortable wear from warm-up laps to race finishes.

Key Features

• Youth-specific fit (6-14 years)
• Adjustable shoulder and waist straps for a personalized fit
• Low-profile shoulder cups and elastic slide-buckle waist closure keep guard snug to the body
• Designed to fit a wide variety of neck braces
• CE EN 14021 certified stone shield

Real-life Use Scenarios

On practice days, the guard stays close as riders lean into corners and absorb small bumps. The elastic waist closure helps keep the unit aligned during weight shifts and quick throttle bursts. The slim profile prevents snagging under gear in muddy conditions or tight pit lanes.

Why Fox Racing

Fox Racing blends a deep motocross heritage with modern protection design. The Youth R3 chest guard translates that DNA into a light, secure piece that sits against the chest while preserving mobility. Neck brace compatibility adds flexibility for riders who want gear that adapts to their safety setup.
