Gorzizen Engine Splash Shield for Hyundai Sonata 2020-2023 | Front Guard & Underbody Protection

Upgrade your Hyundai Sonata's underbody protection with the Gorzizen Engine Splash Shield. Designed for 2020–2023 Sonata models, including gasoline engines (2.5L, 1.6T, 2.5T) and the 2.0L hybrid, this shield replaces the original piece with a more robust profile.

The shield's construction emphasizes durability and reliability. Its thickness is triple the original, contributing to a stiffer, more abrasion-resistant layer that helps shield critical components from road spray, stones, and harsh weather. A reserved oil maintenance hole keeps servicing convenient, without needing to disassemble the guard.

Expanded coverage, better protection

Compared to a 1:1 replica, this guard is wider and offers a broader protection range. It seals critical underbody areas, reducing exposure to debris and potential damage, while remaining compatible with the Sonata's engine bay geometry.

• Wider size provides more comprehensive underside shielding
• Not a direct OEM replica; designed for improved durability
• Engine bay remains accessible for routine checks through the built-in hole

Material and design

Crafted from PVC-based plastic steel, the shield blends rigidity with enough flexibility to absorb impacts. The material resists corrosion and aging, extending service life and reducing the need for frequent replacements.

• Rigid yet flexible PVC formulation
• Excellent corrosion resistance and anti-aging performance
• Suitable for chassis protection in varied climates

Easy installation and what's included

Installation is straightforward: remove the original shield, locate the new mounting holes, and secure with the provided screws. The package includes the engine splash shield, installation screws, and simple instructions.

Note: Always follow the included instructions for best results and safe operation after installation.

Real-world use cases

Ideal for drivers who want enhanced undercarriage protection in urban and rural settings—where occasional gravel, salt, and moisture are common. It helps keep the engine bay cleaner and can contribute to smoother maintenance routines over time.

In sum, the Gorzizen shield is a practical upgrade that supports your Sonata’s engine area with added resistance to the elements, easy maintenance access, and a simple installation path.
