GUZIKO Neutral Position & Back-Up Lamp Switch for 4L60E/4L80E Transmissions

Overview

The GUZIKO Neutral Position & Back-Up Lamp Switch is a practical replacement designed for GM four speed automatics, including 4L60E and 4L80E transmissions. By restoring essential signals between the transmission and the powertrain control module (PCM), this switch aims to support safer starting in Park or Neutral and reduce instances of mis signaling that can affect vehicle behavior.

In everyday use, a healthy neutral position switch helps the vehicle communicate the correct gear state to the engine and transmission control systems. When the switch performs as intended, you may notice crisper engagement during shifts and more predictable responses when selecting forward or reverse. This part is sized to be a direct replacement that matches the fit and electrical characteristics of the original NS85T and related references.

Key Benefits

• Restore Safe Engine Starting: re-establish communication between transmission and PCM for proper operation in Park or Neutral.
• Accurate Gear Position Detection: ensures the PCM receives precise signals for correct shift logic and reliable system response.
• Broad Vehicle Compatibility: supports many Cadillac, GMC, and Chevrolet models from the late 1990s and early 2000s.
• Flexible Part Number Coverage: replaces a range of references (NS85T, D2263C, 24229422, 12450016, 352-3201, DR4033, DR4029, NS85, 74410A, D74410A, 77947 and more) to fit 4L60E and 4L80E transmissions.
