It uses a four phase charging cycle that transitions from initialization to bulk charging then to absorption and finally float. This pattern aims to optimize battery power while avoiding overcharging and excessive heat.

Note before you plug in: this smart charger does not support reviving batteries that are below a certain threshold of 3.5V. If a battery is too depleted or damaged it may need replacement.
