Overview

OTUAYAUTO presents a Map Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor designed as a reliable replacement for a broad range of GM vehicles. This sensor tracks changes in intake manifold vacuum as the engine loads shift and sends a precise signal to the ECU, helping the factory controls respond to real driving conditions. Built to align with common GM specifications, it offers a solid upgrade path when the original MAP sensor starts to drift or lose responsiveness.

Key Benefits

• High reliability and stability under high temperature conditions, keeping signal consistency in demanding environments
• Response time under 2 milliseconds, enabling quicker signal delivery to the engine computer
• Maximum error around 3% across 0°C to 85°C, supporting stable readings in a wide temperature range
• Broad compatibility with many GM vehicles, including models listed in the listing notes

Real-world Use and Scenarios

A stable MAP signal can help the ECU adjust fuel trims and ignition timing, which may contribute to a smoother idle, steadier acceleration, and more predictable throttle response during daily driving. Results can vary based on the overall engine condition and other supporting components. This sensor's design emphasizes reliability in demanding conditions, aiming to deliver consistent performance over time.

What to Expect in Daily Driving

• Potentially steadier idle across varying speeds and loads
• Consistent response during gradual or sudden throttle movements
