PQY 24in Universal Throttle Cable Kit – Stainless Braided, Adjustable, Easy Install

Overview

Meet the PQY 24in Universal Throttle Cable Kit, a stainless steel braided solution designed for versatility across many vehicles and DIY projects. The design emphasizes durability, adaptable length, and a clean look compared with standard plastic sleeves. This kit aims to provide a practical option for enthusiasts who want a robust, adjustable throttle cable without complex fabrication.

Why this kit stands out

• Universal compatibility with the option to cut to fit a wide range of applications, including go karts and custom builds.
• Stainless steel braided cable paired with aluminum fittings and ferrules to reduce wear at attachment points and support a smooth pedal feel.
• U-cut-to-fit outer housing offers flexible installation; choose from 24 or 36 inch inner wire lengths that are cut to size, while the braided outer remains intact.
• Connector end design minimizes extra hardware like cotter pins or set screws, helping simplify installation on factory or aftermarket pedals.

What’s Included

• One 24 inch throttle cable
• Allen wrench for adjustments and secure connection

Real-World Scenarios

In everyday projects, the braided surface can offer a sturdy, resilient feel, while aluminum fittings help reduce wear at attachment points. The flexible length options make it easier to align routing in compact engine bays, custom toys, or restored classics without compromising aesthetics.

Usage Notes

While the kit is designed for broad compatibility, some setups may require minor modifications for the best result. The inner wire is cut-to-size, and the outer housing is U-cut-to-fit for efficient customization. The braided portion should remain intact, and the end fittings are designed for straightforward installation.

Bottom Line

PQY delivers a durable, adjustable throttle cable option that can fit a range of builds with thoughtful, user-friendly design. Consider it as a robust upgrade when you want a reliable cable that accommodates routing needs without heavy fabrication or specialized tools.
