RAP-401U Tough-Claw Large Clamp Base: Versatile, Quick, and Ready for Action

Meet the RAM MOUNTS RAP-401U Tough-Claw Large Clamp Base, engineered to adapt to a wide range of rails and bars. It grips rails from 1" up to 2.25" in outer diameter, with soft rubber pads that cushion the surface and help prevent slipping. The package includes a 1.5-inch C-size ball, enabling immediate attachment to RAM double socket arms for a flexible, multi-attachment setup that travels with you.

Installation is purposefully simple: place the clamp where you want it and tighten the knob. This tool-less approach is well suited for on-the-go adjustments, whether you’re working from a cockpit, mounting on handlebars, or securing gear on a kayak rail. Built to withstand demanding environments, the base combines a high-strength composite body with stainless steel hardware, and is supported by a lifetime warranty for long-term reliability.
