ScorpionEXO R1 Air Full Face Helmet – Pinlock Shield, Bluetooth Ready, Matte Black, XS

ScorpionEXO R1 Air: Balanced protection, comfort, and smart features

The ScorpionEXO R1 Air is built for riders who value safety without sacrificing comfort or practicality. Its multi-layer Ultra-TCT shell blends fiberglass, aramid, and poly-resin to keep weight reasonable while still delivering strong impact distribution. The aero-tuned design helps reduce drag and maintain stability, making daily commutes and weekend spins feel smoother. Available in sizes from XS to 3XL, this helmet aims for a precise, comfortable fit across a wide rider range.

On the road, airflow is prioritized with a Ram-Air intake, four-port exhaust spoiler, and EPS channels that channel air through the helmet for a flow-thru effect. A venturi-style guidance system works with adjustable dual ram-air intakes to pull heat and humidity away from you, helping to keep you feeling cooler during long rides or spirited pulls through twisty roads.

Comfort that travels with you

• Airfit inflation system lets you tailor the fit for different riding situations, from canyon runs to long tours.
• Removable, washable KwikWick interior helps you stay cool and dry in varying weather.
• KwikFit 3D sculpted cheek pads accommodate eyeglasses for a comfortable, secure feel.
• Removable liner and integrated moisture management support easy care and quick refreshes between rides.

Visibility and shield versatility

• EllipTec II quick-release shield with center lock ensures a reliable seal and fast changes when needed.
• Pinlock-ready shield is anti-scratch and provides 95% UV-A/UV-B protection to reduce glare.
• Includes a free Dark Smoke Pinlock-ready shield and anti-fog insert; Tear-off shields are available separately.

Versatility for real-world riding

• Emergency quick-release cheek pads support fast checks or adjustments while riding or in transit.
• Reflective cheek pad piping enhances visibility in low light conditions.
• Breath deflector and aero skirt help manage airflow; comm-ready speaker pockets allow easy integration of compatible Bluetooth systems.

Safety, fit, and long-term value

With three shell sizes and XS–3XL coverage, the R1 Air is designed for a precise fit. The helmet weighs about 1,383 grams in size M, and it carries both DOT FMVSS No. 218 and ECE approvals, backed by a 5-year warranty. This combination of certifications and thoughtful design aims to support confident riding in a variety of conditions.

Whether you’re daily commuting, carving scenic backroads, or enjoying weekend rides, the ScorpionEXO R1 Air offers a comprehensive package of protection, comfort, and practical tech features that can adapt to your needs without pressuring a specific outcome.
