xEnhance hood closure and driving stability
Over time exterior components age and can lead to hood misalignment. The SUSUPACI rear bumper hood stop cone mount offers a practical solution for Freightliner Cascadia models from 2008 to 2017, helping the hood sit firmly and reducing movement during travel on varied roads.
Designed to fit the latch catch at the rear of the hood, this mount provides a quiet, secure closure and contributes to a smoother driving experience. Its durable construction supports consistent performance across daily use and challenging conditions.
Key benefits
- Seamless hood alignment helps maintain a snug fit between hood and body.
- Vibration control reduces hood shake and unwanted movement at speed or on rough surfaces.
- Durable closed micro-cellular urethane offers wear resistance and a long service life.
- Corrosion and scratch resistance protects the mounting area over time.
- Easy installation with a design that mounts on the latch catch for a secure, quiet closing mechanism.
Durability and compatibility
Built to absorb impact forces and help protect the vehicle’s structure, this mount is suitable for Freightliner Cascadia models from 2008 through 2017. Part numbers include A18-59704-000 and A17-20868-000, supplied as a right/left 2 pack to cover both sides as needed.
Usage considerations
Ideal for fleets and individual owners seeking a straightforward replacement to restore hood performance. Results can vary with condition and usage, but the mount offers a practical option to renew hood closure and driving stability.
In everyday driving, a properly seated hood reduces rattling and uncertainty during rapid lane changes or highway passages. The closed-cell urethane compound is selected for resilience to temperature shifts and road spray, helping maintain a consistent seal. With this 2-pack, you can replace both sides to restore symmetry and quiet closure on your Cascadia.
