TonGass 2 Pack 10in Fifth Wheel Lube Plate – Durable PP, Easy Install, Hitch Protection

Overview

Tow vehicles and fifth wheel setups regularly encounter friction where the kingpin meets the hitch. The TonGass 2 Pack 10in fifth wheel lube plates are built to soften that contact, offering a cleaner alternative to grease and a practical layer of protection during towing.

Made from durable PP plastic, these plates combine high density with wear resistance to withstand regular use. With a 10 inch diameter and a 3/16 inch thickness, they provide broad coverage across the hitch surface, helping to shield the kingpin and hitch plate from direct metal-on-metal contact.

Installation is straightforward. The serrated edge and an inner diameter of 2-7/8 inch are designed to press onto the kingpin before tow, without drilling or tools. This makes it a quick upgrade for most fifth wheel rigs.

Why it matters on the road

• Reduces friction between the kingpin and hitch, which can help promote smoother coupling and decoupling.
• Eliminates messy residue compared to traditional greases, keeping trailers cleaner during setup and parking.
• Durable PP plastic construction provides wear resistance for ongoing use across trips and seasons.
• Generous 10 inch diameter with a 3/16 inch thickness offers broad surface coverage for added protection.
• Simple press on installation means no complex steps or tools are required before towing.

What you get and how to use it

• Two plates per pack to cover two towing sessions or spare readiness.
• Serrated edge design compatible with kingpins around 2-7/8 inch ID for secure fit.
• Fast press on setup so you can prepare for towing quickly and cleanly.
