TotalBoat Polyester Structural Repair Putty is a fast-setting, fiber reinforced marine filler designed for high-strength structural bonding and large mass fills. Its pre-thickened formula combines premium polyester resin with long strand milled glass fiber, delivering crack resistance, impact resistance, and reliable shape retention as it cures. Suitable for both boats and assorted repair projects, it spreads smoothly, builds quickly, and holds its form without sagging.

How to use and finishing options

• Mix with MEKP catalyst to achieve a working time of about 15–20 minutes at 70°F; adjust catalyst for more or less time.
• Apply in a single pass or build up quickly; it won’t slump and hardens to a solid mass.
• For cosmetic fairing, follow with TotalBoat Polyester Fairing Compound, then sand smooth before gelcoat or paint.
• If you’re not overcoating, use an air-dry agent such as paraffin wax or apply PVA to prevent skinning.

Finishing and coatings

• Finish with TotalBoat Gelcoat with wax or TotalBoat Wet Edge topside paint after fairing if desired.
